Dural Lifeboat Debate – The Mary Celeste Rides Again

Sincere apologies for not getting in touch sooner – we have been working on viable options and have decided to move the Lifeboat Debate event to the 29th January when there will be less restrictions and better chances of a good attendance.

About this event

Round 1 – 10 characters introduce themselves and have an opportunity to drown their opponents with witty arguments. The audience members cast their votes for their favourites – obviously the more passengers a contestant has persuaded to attend, the better their chances of success!

5 contestants are selected (from the voting tallies) to battle it out in Round 2, where they can use their humour, personality and even debating skills to charm the judges.

This will take place after the dinner break, during which pies and sandwiches will be served.

As it’s 1872, passengers are encouraged to dress accordingly and contribute to the interactive theatre of the Mary Celeste.

Should the plague hit (Covid-19) – refunds will be in full, should an alternative date not be viable for you.
